Also quite novel is the aft location of the helm station in the saloon, which affords a view of all four corners of the boat from the very comfortable drivers seat and also allows the skipper who can often be isolated from the rest of the party on a flying bridge - to interact with those seated at the dinette directly in front of the helm, or in the adjacent galley space. Twin Caterpillar C12s offer a heavy ship sprint speed of 30 knots, yet the boat has a range of over 500 nautical miles at 25 knots from her semi-displacement hull forms and that increases to over 1000 nautical miles at 9 10 knots. The boat is well equipped with generator set, water maker, air conditioning, dive compressor, night vision camera and entertainment systems; there arent too many toys left on the shelf to put on this boat... |
